Oscar Tshifure graduated from Tshwane University of Technology in 2007 with a National Diploma in Public Relations, majoring in Communication Science, Media Studies and Public Relations. Oscar started working as an Intern/Junior Lecturer at Tshwane University of Technology at the end of the 2006 and lectured in Advertising, International Relations and Media Studies.
In 2007 he moved from academia to the pharmaceutical industry to join Roche Diagnostics. There he held various positions, firstly as Communications Officer and then as Team Leader, tasked with handing over the Roche Diagnostics warehouse to the International Health Distributors.
An opportunity arose in 2008, at the International Institute for Research, for a Conference Producer, and Oscar joined to head up the organisation of the Trade and Investment Forum between South African Businesses and the Government of Angola. Oscar later moved departments and took up a position in the Sales team as Business Development Manager, where he looked after both the local and West African accounts.
