Lee Samuel began her career with Gold Palm Promotions in the marketing arena in 2005. She gained valuable insight into project management of events on lead promotions in the business and sport sectors.
She then took on a different challenge by breaking into the FMCG sector in 2006, when she joined The Consumer Goods Council of South Africa in the Legal and Regulatory division. Lee assisted various Blue Chip clients in promoting key issue awareness in order to improve industry standards. Her role also involved informing industry leaders of factors impacting their business.
Her early introduction to marketing unlocked an opportunity within Advertising and Communications at Mortimer Harvey in 2007. Jointly, Lee and a prominent PR Director established an award winning PR and Communications division to compliment the well established Advertising presence of Mortimer Harvey. Her role further progressed into managing all Marketing, PR and Corporate Communication implementation strategies. She played a fundamental role in the launch of the JSE, Africa Board and the subsequent listing of Trustco Group Holdings. Lee also managed all communiqué for several other listings on the Johannesburg Stock exchange.
- Awarded a Gold Prism Award in the first year of operation and developed a highly profitable business unit.
Lee is currently studying for a Diploma in Marketing Management through the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM). She has completed the following subjects; Principles of Marketing, Micro Economics, Macro Economics, and has achieved a distinction in Business Communication.
