Janine Hills is the CEO & Founder of Vuma Reputation Management, a team of experts in reputation management, crisis communication and media liaison. A company based on the principles of sound reputation and good corporate governance. This includes, transparency, discipline, accountability and fairness at all times.

Janine’s extensive business knowledge and skill comes from over 25 years of experience spread across various sectors. She has been employed by Southern Sun, Sun International, Vodacom and Primovie (a division of Primedia), where she sat on the boards for the Kaizer Chiefs, Ster-Kinekor Home Entertainment and Ster-Kinekor Licensing.  Janine has also worked for FNB and was a founding member of ebucks.com the eCommerce initiative of FirstRand.

Having taken a year out and given away all her belongings to be at the feet of a Spiritual Master, brought her deep insight into leadership.  Janine has hiked to the base camp of Mount Everest and completed the 850km Pilgrimage El Camino in Spain, hiked through Tibet and Nepal visiting monasteries and nunneries.

Over the past four years, Janine is privileged to work with at least 20 of the top Blue Chip companies within South Africa.

Her intricate understanding of reputation management have been gained through experience.  Building relationships with the media and global partnerships world-wide have played a key role.  She hand-picks her teams and grows them into their positions through personal encouragement and transformation.

Vuma has recently launched Vuma Knowledge Academy that offers a series of specialised in-depth media training and reputation management programmes.
